Manifesto
We believe in the immeasurable horizons of being.
In our work we capture the intensity of spirit, the strength that comes after pain and loss.
We are dedicated to the expression of the infinite, here, in our finitude.
It is our mission to form sanctuaries that remind one of open horizons, of fragile human existence.
Not as weakness, but as the very gift of life.
Our art is a libation that gathers the sands of time, that protects memory and holds the gentle pulse of a loved one’s presence.
We create Shapes of Spirit.
We invite you to scroll down to experience the story of Pulvis Art Urns...

Our Story
Pulvis Art Urns - Handmade Urns for Ashes
A story of passion for ceramics
In their desire to create a product that makes a difference, Pulvis Art Urns supports the concept of a group of artists, ceramists and sculptors, who design and create models, which are far more than just traditional urns for ashes.
The beginning of the adventure
Back in 2016, Mihail, Aleksandar and Denis came up with the idea of designing a portfolio of memorial products that imply the feeling of experiencing art. After a thorough research on the funeral market and a long year of experimenting with clay, glazes and conceptual designs, Pulvis Art Urns was born.
First models inspired by art
In 2017, Pulvis Art Urns introduced it's first handmade cremation urns, inspired by art, sculpting and religion. "The Christ", "The Holy Mother", "Wings" and "The Passage" were introduced on the market. A few months later a matching keepsakes were designed.
After a year of intensive work, Pulvis Art Urns present their first iconic designs, most of which are client's first choice, when it comes to honoring the memory of a loved one. The particular resistance of the ceramic material in combination with unique glazes expand the creative resources of Pulvis artists.
Pulvis Art Urns - First models
"The first model that I came up with, was an expression of the Christ. This is actually closely associated with the christian idea of being part of the body of Christ."
- Aleksandar Yuzev, conceptual artist & founder
Recognition
2018 and 2019 are years of feverish activity and creative maturity. Pulvis Art Urns actively took part in several worldwide trade shows, introducing it's innovative approach to the funeral sector. The quality achieved leads Pulvis to undertake more ambitious works, new premium series are born and the definitive international recognition arrives.
Pulvis factory begins extensive production
"We asked ourselves, how can we apply those contemporary, modern ideas into industrial manufacturing."
- Aleksandar Yuzev, conceptual artist & founder
In 2020, the constant search for new ways of expression continued apace. Greater control of ceramics enabled creations that show an extraordinary mastery of modeling and production.
In new urn collections like Light, Wings and Stone, the artists’ imagination is carried away by abstract forms and the pleasure of creation.
In the following years Pulvis reaches two major milestones in its international expansion. Pulvis disembarked on the Australian market, partnering with largest distributors on the continent and introducing it's handmade range there.
Expanding our network of sellers and distributors in USA noted а remarkable success in 2020, heading toward new all-time peaks.
The process of internationalization continued steadily in emerging markets like The Baltic states, France, Spain and Netherlands.
"Traditional technologies interwined with a modern design, is what makes our products unique"
- Mihail Mihaylov, ceramist & founder
Excellence
With great attention to the detail, our cremation urns for ashes are entirely hand-made of superb quality ceramic, produced according to the recipes of Pulvis Art Urns technologists.
In the past two years, Pulvis produced many highly complex designs, most of them incorporating abstract, yet natural forms, demonstrating the remarkable know-how of Pulvis artists.
Apart from their superb vision, the urns are remarkable for their exquisite hardiness and resistance to atmospheric influence, achieved by double firing them - first at 900°C and second time when glazed at 1200°C.
Reaching new heights in design
Pulvis Art Urns iconic range grows significantly, including some new masterpieces like "Eternity", "Light" and "Abstract". Many of the products are reinvented in an intensive new glazes. Hypnotic, vivid and symbolic, those magnetic colors allows us to reinterpret the Pulvis classics.
