Ensure you place it away from direct sunlight to prevent it from cracking. Only use a dry cloth to wipe off the dust that builds up over time. Avoid using water or any cleaning chemicals as they may destroy the wood.

Since a large portion of the ashes originate from the bones, the amount of ashes at the end is almost the same regardless of the weight of the body. The body fat is all consumed during the cremation process, so a full-size urn means it can fit more ashes inside.

With most wooden urns, the entire bottom panel is removable, allowing you to easily place the ashes into the urn. Our wood urns does not require sealing. It is optional.

All of our wood cremation urns open from the bottom by removing three screws. Simple remove the screws, place the plastic bag of remains into the urn, then reattach the bottom panel using the screws.
